2018 Census Conference: Count Me In – Redistricting & Democracy

Conference General description: The goal is to create a space for all levels of stakeholders in the process of the census to engage and learn what they can do to ensure an accurate and inclusive count. It is also to provide an opportunity for key stakeholders (grassroots and tree-tops) to begin the process of collaboration through the breakout session, and to start seeing the cross-roads between the census, redistricting and allocation of local and state resources as part of the census process. The program for the day will be a Call to Action with “real time” sign-up sheets where CCMN will follow-up and ensure coordination of statewide efforts among newly forming partnerships.
