On 1/15 a brave crew of resistors battled the cold to mix socializing with activism. Discussion was wide and varied and along with chat about great food and drink- we discussed furthering our community service actions through newly formed subgroup that looks for ways we can help in our immediate community to improve people’s lives.
One such project is getting funds and support for the Dakota Child and Family Clinic. It is a family practice nurse practitioner run clinic in Burnsville. It is a nonprofit charity clinic, roughly half the patients are under or uninsured.
