Rep. Angie Craig (MN CD2) held her third open, advertised Town Hall of her first 70 days in office. Craig had promised during the last campaign to hold monthly town halls and is making good on that promise.
A good-sized crowd showed up at Shakopee High School on Saturday, March 16 to hear the Shakopee High School Saxophone Choir open the event with Bohemian Rhapsody, followed by a presentation by the congresswoman of a congressional certificate to honor the wrestling squad recent achievement of a state championship. After the pledge of allegiance Rep. Craig opened with a statement and then took questions on a variety of issues including special education funding, gun safety, health care, immigration and the wall, the mosque shooting in New Zealand and a number of other topics of concern to her constituents.
